توضیحات
A captivating story of transformation in the face of dying. For nine-year-old Wendy Slattery, the world was a big place that had no interest in fulfilling her dreams. Growing up on a farm in the 1960’s meant absorbing the rhetoric that women don’t become doctors. Instead, Wendy abandoned her medical ambitions and turned her dreaming to imaginary stories. That big imagination took a back seat through the rebellious days of the 1970’s, where she fell into a cutting-edge career in the newly burgeoning computer field. Soon, the golden days dissolved into discontent, divorce, and a lack of direction only God could turn around.Increasingly anchored by prayer, Wendy rediscovered her early calling — and when she answered, life bloomed in unexpected ways. With love came joy, with purpose came fulfillment...and with living, came dying.Written with warmth, individuality, and unflinching self-examination, The Edge of the Unseen World explores what it means to build a life on the foundations of the divine.
