توضیحات
May the voice of Charlie Kirk continue inspiring people everywhere to stand strong, speak out, and stay the course.Eight-year-old Davey was sure he’d done the right thing at the park. Like David when he faced Goliath, Davey had stood up to a bully who was ridiculing another boy for reading his Bible.Only Davey’s Goliath didn’t fall – he punched Davey square in the nose and laughed scornfully in his face. When Davey is home in bed later that day, wallowing in a stew that’s equal parts embarrassment and pain, wondering whether his act of heroism was actually one of stupidity, his grandpa pays him a visit. Grandpa offers Davey a cup of hot peppermint tea with honey, apparently the favorite beverage of a man Davey’s never heard of.Then Grandpa proceeds to tell Davey the true story of Charlie Kirk, a prominent public figure who endeavored to please and honor the Lord Jesus Christ above all else. This story, though undoubtedly sad on one level, is ultimately a message of great hope and encouragement for Davey. He learns that persecution is guaranteed to Christ followers everywhere.Grandpa ends his story by explaining to Davey why Charlie Kirk loved peppermint tea with honey so much.Make yourself and a beloved little one a cup, then read the story to find out for yourself.
