What will remain because you were here?Accomplished Filipino humanitarians show how a skill, a venue, a spare room, or a Saturday morning becomes a legacy. Learn how to serve with what is already in your hands.Do you want to give back, but feel you have no cause, money, or platform? Have you told yourself your story is too small to help anyone? Are you a professional, an artist, or a parent whose gifts seem to have nothing to do with "charity"?This second collection is led by Dr. Nellie C. Reyes (h.c.), founder of the nonprofit Assist NA and the editorial force behind the #1 International Bestseller that began the series. Leonor Magtolis Briones, former Secretary of Education of the Republic of the Philippines, writes the foreword. The authors include a CPA named among Forbes' top CPAs in America, a physical therapist whose dialysis centers gave patients free treatment for over a year, a shopping center marketing manager who ran more than 350 events in a single year, a dance producer, a home care owner, a designer, and a technologist.A Legacy in Humanitarianism: Journeys of Genuine Connections Through Creative Purpose shares honest stories of starting over, from Eastern Samar, Iligan City, and Manila to Los Angeles, Carson, and Georgia. In A Legacy in Humanitarianism: Journeys of Genuine Connections Through Creative Purpose, you'll discover:How a boy who carried water and sold rice cakes in a village without electricity later turned his Los Angeles dance studio into a home for twenty dancersWhy a prom dress drive that failed became a free Zumba class that has drawn fifty to a hundred people every Saturday since 2011The "stretch zone" rule a physical therapist uses for muscles, businesses, and a life of serviceHow a CPA went from an office in Manila to graveyard shifts in Canada, and what that taught her about finding a spark in vulnerabilityWhat "Learn. Solve. Share. Empower." looks like when a bullied girl from a small city becomes a professor on three continents, then a bridge for Filipino businesses in AmericaWhy legacy is created while we live, and how to build one that keeps going without youIf you have ever thought that giving back was for people with more money, more time, or a bigger name, let these authors inspire you to make a difference.Get your copy today and start giving what you have.PRINCIPAL AUTHORS: Dr. Nellie C.
